Day 1

Arrival in Hanoi and City Tour

When you arrive at the airport, finish your arrival paperwork, and then you’ll be taken to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. In the evening, you will go on a city tour starting from the Temple of Literature, which is the first university in Vietnam. After that, you will head to Ba Dinh Square, the biggest square in Hanoi, where major cultural and political events take place. You can take photos of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside. Later, you will get a good look at the capital by taking a “cyclo” ride, starting from the Old Quarter of Hanoi and stopping at Ngoc Son Temple by Hoan Kiem Lake (also known as the “Sword” Lake). Tonight, you’ll stay overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2

Hanoi to Halong Bay

Today, after a splendid breakfast, you will leave the hotel and head to Halong Bay, a special place recognized by UNESCO as a Natural World Heritage site in 1994 and 2006. The journey will take you through the Red River delta, where you will see green fields and villages with hardworking farmers busy with their farming tasks or planting seedlings. When you reach Halong, you will get on a large boat to cruise through the bay and discover its breathtaking beauty. The bay is famous for its thousands of unique limestone rocks and small island caves, giving it the nickname “Descending-dragon bay.” After lunch, you will visit the Surprising Grotto, and you’ll have the option to swim or kayak (at an additional cost). You will pass by floating villages and get close to small islands to appreciate their beauty. In the evening, you can join activities on the boat or simply relax. You will spend the night on board. (Dinner included)

Day 3

Halong Bay to Hanoi

After having breakfast today, you will take a boat trip to Luon Cave, which is like a pool inside an island in Halong Bay. It’s a peaceful place with beautiful scenery and green water. On your way back to the Halong Wharf, you will pass through an area with many islands, each with interesting names like Cock-Fighting Rock, Sail Island, Incense Burner Rock, and Sea Dog Rock. Then, you will head to the hotel for check-in. You will have the evening free to relax. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Hanoi. (Lunch included)

Day 4

Leaving Hanoi

This morning, after breakfast, we will take you to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
